Founded in 1971, Hearthstone Homes began by restoring historic 150–200-year-old log homes in the southern Appalachian Mountains before expanding into custom log and heavy timber home construction. As demand grew, the company developed new homes that preserve the character and craftsmanship of traditional structures while incorporating modern design and engineering. Since adding timber frame construction in the early 1980s, Hearthstone has continued its tradition of creating distinctive homes inspired by America’s architectural heritage.
